Social Relevance

Over the years, Music Group and Cultural Trust spearheaded by Smt. Krishna Chatterjee has been a quiet contributor to the cause of aid to cancer-afflicted children. She also runs Moorchana School of Music, which uses teaching and training as a means to preserve and promote Indian classical music.

As daughters, assisting in these endeavors over the years has helped Suchismita & Debopriya grow as a human being, and thus a renewed commitment to social relevance was born.

New series of music concerts that encourage budding talent and showcase the best in Indian classical music are organized and the proceeds are contributed in aid of Cancer Afflicted Children.

A small effort of a mother, a daughter, above all an artist to fill in the void between apathy and empathy.
